This week on Weird and Wacky Wednesday, we delve into probably the weirdest thing I’ve heard in a while, where a woman was caught breastfeeding her cat mid-flight. Then we get off that flight in Delaware where perhaps the world’s worst bank robbery went down, and we end this week’s Weird and Wacky Wednesday off with a bit of holiday spirit and find out that what happens at the Christmas tree farm, does not stay at the Christmas tree farm.

Ma’am, please put the cat away
A woman flying on a Delta flight decided it was a good idea to take her breast out mid-flight as start breastfeeding. Had she been breastfeeding a human baby, there would be no problem, as Delta’s website states; “Delta fully supports a woman’s right to breastfeed onboard Delta and Delta Connection aircraft and in Delta facilities.”
The problem is with the fact that what the woman was breastfeeding turned out to be a hairless cat. Yes, you read that correctly, she was attempting to get her feline friend to latch onto her breast.
When a flight attendant noticed and asked her to put the cat back in its carrier, she refused, and so a message was sent to alert the Delta crew in Atlanta, where the plane was headed, of the passenger breastfeeding a cat on board.
One of the flight attendants took to TikTok and said security got involved but had no other information on what happened to the woman.
This is definitely one of the weirdest and wackiest things I’ve heard in a while.
Sir, that is not how you rob a bank
There are quite a few movies and tv shows out there nowadays that I think provide an adequate amount of information on how to successfully get away with robbing a bank.
Of all the necessary and intricate details that go into planning a successful bank heist, I feel like the one step you absolutely cannot skip over is the quick getaway.
Well, it seems one man in Delaware did in fact miss this step, and after robbing a Wells Fargo of $150, instead of running away, he stopped literally at the ATM right outside the bank to deposit the money he had just stolen.
Then he made his exit on foot, where he was caught immediately.
Then, in his post-arrest interview, he claimed that “his mind is currently being controlled by a third party via an implant located somewhere in his body.”
I have nothing more to say on this one, it’s left me speechless.
To get a tree, or to not get a tree…
We all know about the stress that comes with the holidays. Too many things to do, but not enough time.
This stress usually comes closer to the end of December though, not before the Christmas tree has even been purchased.
But in Florida, a domestic dispute over whether to get a tree or not, led to the arrest of a man, after he elbowed his girlfriend in the face.
He claims that it was an accident, and has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanour charges, however, he has been ordered by a judge to stay away from the victim.
