Spoiled Stories

I’m going to spoil the end of this story. A Russian scientist has been accused of attempted murder in Antarctica because his colleague kept spoiling the end of the books he was reading.

Sergey Savitsky and Oleg Beloguzov are colleagues working on King George Island. As you can imagine, there isn’t too much to do at the bottom of this planet. So to pass the time, people working down there can go to the gym, watch one of two TV channels, read or drink.

Unfortunately on this one particular evening the usually calming pastimes of drinking and reading resulted in Savitsky losing it when Beloguzov ruined one too many story lines.

This is the first time someone has been charged with attempted murder in Antarctica.

As you can imagine, there is no jail on King George Island so Savitsky was held in the local church and was guarded by the two priests until he returned to his home country of Russia and arrested.

A Missing Member

A man in China woke up one morning to discover that his penis had been chopped off.

Yes. You read that right.

After a night of drinking and partying, Tan Nan woke and had zero recollection how or why he was selected to be the victim of dismemberment.

Nan visited multiple hospitals the next morning to get his penis reattached. He was turned away from a number of locations because the hospitals did not have the equipment necessary to perform the operation.

The question that comes to mind right now is how did Nan transport his penis from location to location? A plastic baggie? Reusable container?

But rest assured that Nan eventually found a hospital that would reattach his penis. Apparently he is recovering and the police are investigating.

Handbag Hero

A man refused to hand over his Louis Vuitton bag to an armed robber.Jerad Kluting was walking back home in Michigan when a man approached him and whipped out a gun and demanded he had over his $1700 handbag. The robber pointed the gun at Kluting but he refused to give it up.To further intimidate Kluting, the robber fired two shots but this failed and Kluting ran away. The robber pursued Kluting and fired another round of shots during the pursuit but the gun jammed and the robber gave up. Kluting found refuge at his uncle’s house nearby.Kluting explained his bravery by saying that he “wasn’t going to be intimated by this bully.”

Kluting worked hard to save his money to buy the bag. The sentimental value of the bag is obviously priceless as Kluting risked being shot to keep it.
