This week on Weird and Wacky Wednesdays, we look at the case of a lawyer who took it all off to make her case. Then, we examine the strangest bail hearing I have ever heard about. Finally, we visit a story that is the stuff that nightmares are made of.
Follow the jump to learn more about this week’s weirdest and wackiest legal cases from around the globe!
The Naked Lawyer
Honestly, that might be a genius marketing idea for a lawyer, if it weren’t so sad for how it unfolded for this one lawyer. And by sad, I mean hilarious.

The lawyer was allegedly drinking at a bar in – you guessed it – Florida. She drank to the point of becoming so intoxicated that she was cut off from service. Naturally, her response to being cut off was to do what any self-respecting person would do. She went to the bathroom, removed all her clothes, and emerged totally naked.
When the bar requested that she get dressed again, the woman refused. So the police were called and she was arrested.
Where Would we be Without Lich
This would not be a proper post this week without mentioning the absolute lunacy that was the Tamara Lich bail hearing.
Last week, convoy protest organizer Tamara Lich was arrested in Ottawa. She had a bail hearing and offered up her husband as surety. Some of the information relayed by her husband in the hearing was… weird and wacky.

It included the assertion that they were flown by a generous Christian man named Joseph, on a private jet, to Ottawa. They had been subsisting on a $7/day diet of bananas, apples, and oranges and Mr. Lich had lost ten pounds as a result. The hotel they booked could not be paid for, but they truly believed the Holy Spirit would cover the costs.
So, as you can expect, she was denied bail.
A Bloody Nightmare
Crimes featured in this series are always a little nightmare-ish, even if they have an element of humour to them. But a West London man must be vying for the weirdest and most disturbing legal case of the series thus far.

He’s accused of and indeed caught on camera, injecting food at the grocery store with a syringe filled with his own blood. During the investigation, police recovered 21 blood-filled syringes. The man also threw eggs and other groceries at staff who tried to stop him.
