This week on Weird and Wacky Wednesday we have two stories coming out of Florida, one where a woman inmate punched a jail deputy because she was bored, and a man who got a DUI after driving a scooter in Walmart drunk.

The cure for boredom
Of the many things a person could do to cure their boredom, I would say that punching a jail deputy while being an inmate should probably not be on the list.
But for a young woman jailed in Florida, that was exactly what she did, punched a deputy out of boredom while the deputy was escorting her to another area of the jail.
As a result of her boredom punch, the woman was charged with a felony count of battery on a law enforcement officer.
Maybe next time she’s bored she can figure out something to do that won’t result in a felony charge.
DUI in a Walmart
Who would’ve thought it was possible to get a DUI while inside a Walmart. Well Florida is the place where anything is possible, and a man was arrested for driving a scooter drunk inside the store.
According to a Walmart security guard, not only was the man swerving in and out of aisles, he was knocking over displays and nearly knocking over other customers too.
Police were alerted, and now the man has been charged with four misdemeanours, including driving under the influence, disorderly intoxication, and possession of an open container of alcohol after a bottle of vodka was found in his bag.
Apparently he was so drunk he couldn’t even stand up on his own.
Failed robbery? No problem
Who would think it would be a good idea to attempt to rob someone and shoot an AR-15 into the air, then the next day head back to the place you were seen shooting said gun and shop without a care in the world.
A 19-year-old kid in Arizona apparently didn’t think anything of it, and in fact arrived back at the mall he had just the night before shot a gun into the air of the parking lot in wearing a hat he had purchased the day before too.
Police arrested him and found a bunch of fentanyl pills on him. Needless to say he is now facing numerous criminal charges.
