This week on the Driving Law Podcast, I speak with Paul Doroshenko about a recent court decision that resulted in a person being convicted of impaired driving while in a canoe.
Then, Paul and I look at a traffic ticket issued in Kelowna for excessive speeding where the manner in which the evidence was collected leaves the likelihood of a conviction highly suspect. Finally, we discuss the designation of qualified technicians and analysts by provincial governments, and consider whether the designations that have recently been given are correctly done… which could impact dozens of impaired driving prosecutions in British Columbia.
I’m also pleased to announce that the Driving Law podcast is now part of the Cannabis Media Collective!
