The Great Orlando Showdown

In Orlando, Florida, what appeared to be an epic race between two police cars, turned out to be one officer trying to pull over another for speeding! Talk about the most confusing crime scene ever.

The speeding police cruiser was going well over the speed limit when the other officer noticed and put on his sirens to flag his fellow officer down. He had turned on his bodycam and was able to capture the entire convo on video.

The speeding officer was angry he got pulled over and exited his car with a loud “What?!” to which the other officer informed him he was speeding. But speeding was not the only crime he was committing, as he also admitted to not having a license.

He has been charged with speeding, reckless driving, resisting an officer, and a felony for fleeing from law enforcement. He has also been temporarily relieved of duty.

The Tower-Trekking Brit

This next story is out of Seoul where a  British man simply couldn’t resist the allure of scaling skyscrapers with his bare hands! He took on the challenge of conquering the Lotte World Tower, the fifth-tallest skyscraper in the world

At the bottom of the tower, there were over 90 emergency personnel, police officers, and confused onlookers flocking to witness the crazy ascent.

He managed to reach the astonishing height of the 72nd floor, which, mind you, is a breathtaking 310 meters above the ground. His plans to touch the sky were cut short when authorities swiftly intervened, placing him into the safety of a gondola lift. Wearing a parachute, he revealed his grand plan was to base-jump from the pinnacle of the tower.

He has been taken into custody, but the details remain elusive. The Lotte Property & Development, the proud operators of the tower, made it clear the man didn’t suffer any significant injuries, except for a tiny cut on his right knee.

Will the Lotte Property & Development now have to hang a “No Climbing” sign on the tower’s exterior or perhaps name a penthouse suite after him?

Patio Party Crasher

In Florida, a woman let her dogs out for their morning washroom break, where she was greeted by the most unexpected surprise party on her own patio.

The unsuspecting homeowner innocently opened her back door, where she found a man lounging away on her back patio and using her outlet to charge his phone. Luckily for the homeowner, an off-duty deputy happened to be in the vicinity and made his way over to her house.

Naturally, the deputy wasted no time and promptly detained the man. When they asked the man what made him think it was okay to lie on a stranger’s patio, his response was that he thought he was at his girlfriend’s house and was patiently waiting for her to let him in.

In a surprising turn of events, a search of his belongings revealed baggies filled with a powder that tested positive as heroin, a zippered case holding 22.4 grams of methamphetamine, syringes, and even a scale.

The man was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, drug trafficking, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Looks like this uninvited guest won’t be receiving any party invitations for a long, long time.
