Follow the jump and learn more about this week’s weirdest and wackiest legal cases from around the globe!

Stay back or I’ll use this hot dog

A man in Florida was selling hot dogs on the road, and after repeatedly being told by police to stop, he refused and instead decided it was a good idea to throw one of his hot dogs at a police officer.

He was told to stop selling the hot dogs because it was illegal, but apparently, that didn’t bother the man. When he was told to put the hot dog down, he was upset by this demand and instead threw it at an officer. Fortunately, he was not injured by the flying meat.

As a result of the hot dog fiasco, the man was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer, and also with resisting arrest.

Needless to say, even if you don’t think everything can be used as a weapon, it probably can.

Real-life subway surfers

Toronto police are on the hunt for two masked men who were caught on video riding along the top of a TTC subway car.

I mean we’ve all probably at one point or another played the phone game Subway Surfers, but I don’t think most people would ever want to attempt something like that in real life. Just looks a little bit too dangerous and illegal to ever be fun.

But apparently, the dangers of riding ON TOP of a subway car didn’t matter to two men in Toronto, and they are now facing big trouble with the law if they are caught.

The fine for what they did could be up to $425, but they could also potentially face jail time too.

Dress code at the movies?

TikTok has pretty much become the biggest social media platform in the world recently, so it’s no surprise that trends are constantly being created and going viral on the app.

The latest one involves groups of young people dressing in suits and going to the movie theatre to watch the new minion’s movie. Apparently, not all of these people have been respectful to the movie viewing experience, and because of this, some theatres have banned people from wearing suits.

There have been some complaints about the groups of people throwing things and being loud in the theatres.

Look I’m all for having a fun night out at the theatre, and dressing up to enhance the experience, but why do you have to cause a scene, and let the kids enjoy their movie.
