This week on Weird and Wacky Wednesday a food truck gets in a crash with a turkey, a man who checked a bottle of whiskey in his luggage claims it came back almost empty, and an NYC judge’s OnlyFans results in his termination.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane….
I feel like most people have an irrational fear of something crashing through their windshield when they’re casually driving down the road, but for a couple driving their food truck in North Carolina, that fear turned rational within a split second.
And the thing that flew through this couple’s truck was perhaps the most surprising thing of all: a turkey!
The couple saw the turkey coming but did not have enough time to avoid it. Luckily no major accident with other cars ensued. However, no one could account for the turkey after the whole ordeal. If it survived the crash, which seems unlikely, I just hoped it has learned its lesson to avoid fast-moving objects in the middle of its path.
My bottle was not for sharing
When people go on vacations, oftentimes we like to bring back some souvenirs from wherever they’ve been, whether that be a keychain, a t-shirt, or even a bottle of alcohol.
And if what they bring back is an expensive bottle of whiskey in their checked luggage, they certainly don’t expect it to be opened and sampled by the baggage handlers.
And for one man flying on a United Airlines flight, when he opened his luggage he found that his expensive whiskey bottle had not only been open, but three-quarters of it was missing. And it did not spill in the luggage either, according to the man, who took to Twitter to let United Airlines know their baggage handlers are thieves.
Imagine buying a bottle of whiskey and thinking about enjoying it the whole flight back, only to open your luggage and find it almost empty…that would be infuriating for sure.
Your Honour, was that you I saw on OnlyFans?
Being a judge always seems to be a very serious job, where one must remain professional and show no biases. Most judges don’t have side hustles, but if one did I would expect their job to be tutoring law students or maybe even working as a cashier perhaps. But never would anyone expect their off-the-clock hours to be used to post on OnlyFans.
A judge, or should I say, former judge, in New York City, was fired from his job after his OnlyFans, with a bio reading, “white collar professional by day…very unprofessional by night,” was discovered.
For those that don’t know, OnlyFans is a site where creators post pictures and videos of themselves either partially or fully naked, and charge their fans for access to said pictures. The judge was charging $12.99 a month for access to his page.
Even though he lost his job as a judge, at least he won’t be unemployed.
