And a fun discussion on color, presence, and how visual cues impact authority

Whether you’re an Attorney, law student, or simply curious about how courtroom strategy really works, this episode gives a rare behind-the-scenes look at the profession.

“I always wanted to be a lawyer, ever since I was a little kid. My grandma used to love telling this story before she passed. We would walk together from her house to church, and one day, I looked up at her very solemnly and said, ‘Grandy, when I grow up, I’m going to be a lawyer.’ She said, ‘Oh, that’s nice. You’re going to be a ballerina and a lawyer and a fire truck driver, right?’ But no, that was the moment I made up my mind. From that point forward, that’s what I worked towards. I think I got the idea because I read the Nancy Drew books. Nancy Drew’s dad was a lawyer, and he had a banana yellow Cadillac. I remember thinking, ‘I don’t know what that is, but I know I want one.'”
