Weird and Wacky Wednesday: Volume 200

We’ve finally made it to Weird and Wacky Wednesday Volume 200!!! If you’ve been keeping up with the weirdest and wackiest cases from around the world thus far, I want to say thanks! This week is nothing short of those, starting with a Florida man who was exposing himself to unsuspecting victims on FaceTime. Then we follow that up with a man in Ontario who fell asleep at the wheel…of a stolen car with a gun in his lap, and end off here in Vancouver where a Tesla randomly caught on fire…with the owner trapped in the car!

As always, make sure to follow the jump and learn more about this week’s weirdest and wackiest cases from around the globe!

Careful who you answer on FaceTime

This first story is enough to have everyone thinking twice before hitting the accept call button on FaceTime, specifically when the call is coming from an unknown number!

A man in Florida was recently charged with indecent exposure and obscene communication after he admitted to calling random numbers while being exposed.

One of the victims, in the midst of shock and disgust, was able to take a screenshot of the video call with the man, and the police were able to tie the calls to him through his tattoos.

He already has a previous criminal history, and because of this these current charges became felonies.

Needless to say, I probably won’t be answering any random FaceTime calls anytime soon.

Don’t fall asleep at the wheel…especially in a stolen car

A man in Toronto has been arrested after police came across him asleep in a car with a gun in his lap.

As if the gun itself, in full view, was not bad enough, they also discovered that the vehicle the man had decided to take a nap in, was not his. It was stolen.

The driver was then arrested for impaired driving, with the police also saying it was possible the vehicle had been involved in an accident earlier that day.

If you’re going to fall asleep in your car, there are two things you should seriously consider before doing so; one, don’t have a weapon laid out on your lap in plain sight, and two, make sure the car you’re going to be sleeping in, actually belongs to you!

Elon, my Tesla’s on fire!

A man right in here in Vancouver saw his life flash before his eyes when he realized he was trapped in his car as it began to catch fire.

He said he was just casually driving down the street when the car lost all power, including his ability to open the doors and windows.

Once he saw smoke start to come through the vents, luckily the man was quick on his feet and thought to break the windows to escape! The car eventually caught on fire, but luckily the fire department arrived just in time.

Look I know Tesla’s are being labelled the cars of the future, but I’m just adding this to the list of horror stories I’ve already about these cars!
