Follow the jump for more of this week’s weird and wackiest cases from around the globe.

What happens on vacation doesn’t stay there

I think it’d be reasonable to assume that when police officers go to different cities for vacation they’d be on their best behaviour to avoid causing problems for local officers, you know since they can understand the difficulties.

But a Chicago police officer who was on vacation in Florida did not care to make life easier for fellow police officers of Ft. Lauderdale, after under the influence of alcohol, he was caught peeing in the ice machine of a restaurant.

The employee of the restaurant who caught him in the act had to endure two shoves from the man, and then he also shoved a security guard.

He was arrested when police arrived. Just goes to show, cops, they’re just like us and make mistakes too.

What did baby Jesus do?

The beginning of December and the holiday season means for lots of people it’s time to bring out the Christmas decorations and lights and go all out in decorating.

Some people enjoy putting up Christmas lights, while others like to set up a nativity scene, including the manger, animals and baby Jesus.

In Ohio, a man had his nativity scene essentially ruined when someone took it upon themselves to steal his baby Jesus. Not only did they take Jesus though, they replaced him with a tombstone decoration that had R.I.P. on it.

The theif has yet to be caught, and unfortunately that means baby Jesus is still missing.

I don’t know how the money got here

This next story begs the question, what would you do if you woke up one morning and randomly had $515, 000.00 in your bank account?

For a young man in Australia, what it meant for him was that he could go on a spending spree. He did actually inform the bank that the money ended up in his account, but that didn’ stop him from going out and spending the money on gold bars and clothes.

Apparently the money ended up there when a couple buying a house deposited it to his account instead of to the bank it needed to go to.

As a result of his crazy spending spree, the man has recently been arrested and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Who would’ve thought spending money that’s in your own account could get you in so much trouble.
