Video of a motorcyclist going four times the speed limit and weaving through traffic on a Vancouver bridge has prompted a police investigation.
Vancouver police confirm they are investigating after a video was uploaded to Instagram on March 24 showing the biker reaching speeds of more than 230 km/h while swerving through traffic over the Lions Gate Bridge.
“Don’t put your crimes on the internet… If you do something illegal, putting it online is only going to attract the attention of police, especially when that video goes viral.”
“Because the video very clearly shows somebody committing a crime, the police could easily obtain a search warrant to get the IP address traffic information and then find the identity of the person who posted the video…”
